Hi!

This text (bottom) is saved as an unsigned UTF-8 file (ANSI in notepad), and
then attempted imported to outlook 2003. Outlook says the file "might be
corrupt". WHY?
(A hint: remove encoding=quoted-printable and it works, but this file is
correct according to the spec at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2445.txt as far
as I can see..) Please help!

Lars-Erik

I've seen this one before. Although there isn't a KB article on it, it
should be a known issue.

I couldn't agree more :)
But I'm sure our customer won't like to hear "We know it's an issue, but we
can't do anything about it"..

You seem to know Outlook :P Do you have any suggestions on how I should
implement functionality in our app considering the following:
* The app sends invitations to meetings that should be possible to import
and accept or deny in preferably all apps, but mainly outlook
* The invitation format must support international characters
* The mail must be sent per SMTP, it is not possible to use Exchange
functionality.

What is done now is that we generate a .ics file (iCalendar) which is mailed
as an attachment to the users. It works most of the time, but not always.
I've been looking at the one invitation that has erred so far, and the only
issue I could see was a line of more than 76 characters (description), but
then again - other invitations that work has the same. I also tried changing
the file to broken lines, but the same error occured..

I'm really at a loss here.. Appreciate any help anyone have to offer :)
