Security Settings Question

Greetings, I installed Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 2 the other day and
now I notice that when viewing an email in my mail reader, the
hyperlinks don't work. I receive Google News Alerts and used to be able
to click on a hyperlink and it would bring up my browser. Now nothing
happens. I've looked through the security settings, but can't find the
one for this setting. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Don

This is apparently an issue with IE7 beta. "Beta" means software that
isn't finished and is still in the bug-checking phase.

Here is the newsgroup set up for this beta program:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Use Google Groups Advanced Search, constrain the search to that
newsgroup, and use a search term like "hyperlinks in email don't work".
If you don't find satisfactory answers, post your question in that
group.

Malke - Thanks for the reply. I wasn't really sure this was an IE7.0
Beta 2 problem. However, a search of the internet turned up an article
titled "IE7 Beta 2 Breaks Outlook Web Links." A quick uninstall of IE7
fixed the problem, guess I'll wait for beta 3 or 4. Thanks for the
quick response and I hope this wasn't too off topic.

Don

Glad you got it sorted. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.
