security problem

I created a database and then a user with admin rights and one with only
read rights. It works okay on one computer, but when I try and open it
on another computer, it opens the database without asking for a username
or password. I was wondering if someone could tell me what I am doing
wrong? If I run the Workgroup administrator and tell it to join and
then reselect the new *.mdw file rather than its default of system.mdw
then it runs like it should.

Hi, Roger.

If the database can be opened without the workgroup file that was used to
secure it, then it isn't secured properly. You've missed a step. Read and
study the Security FAQ to find which step you missed. You can read the
