Security of .NET Framework 2.0 assembly signing...

Nick Z.

I heard that assembly signing in 1.1 was cracked.
Is version 2.0 better at signing assemblies?

Would it be sufficient to sign the assemblies to prevent them from being
tampered with? Should I use something else in addition (obfustication
tools, encryption tools)? Can you recommend such tools? Can you point me
in the right direction towards protecting my .NET applications in
general? (good articles, guidelines, etc would be appreciated)

Thanks,
Nick Z.

Anyone?

I'll clarify my question:
What is a reasonably good way of protecting c# assemblies against
crackers and such?

Thanks,
Nick Z.
