security for noisy roommate

I have a noisy roommate who likes to use my laptop to get
on the internet. Is there a way to set up my laptop so
that after certain time of inactivity(say, 10 minutes),
the screen will go back to username/password required
setup, like when I first start the computer?

Right click the Desktop, click Properties, click Screensaver tab.
Set the time to 10 minutes and check box "On resume, display...".
Click OK and follow prompts.
