Security Center not starting

Windows Security Center is not starting on start up.This has happened since
installing windows defender beta 2 and installing the latest security updates.
Message says"Security Center not available because security service has not
started or was stopped.Restart computer or restart security service and then
open security center again."This has no effect.There is still an option
showing to manage settings for Firewall,internet options and auto updates
which appear to work.
Also when Windows antispyware was uninstalled automatically on installing
Windows Defender at least 120 files were left in the registry.Anyone else
come across this.

Does uninstalling Defender Beta2 resolve the problem?

Microsoft has established separate newsgroups for Windows Defender Beta2

Thanks for your response,but uninstalling defender has not resolved the problem

Start > Run > (type in) services.msc > OK

Scroll down to "Security Center" > Double-click on it > Startup type >
(select) Automatic; Service Status > (click on) Start (if you find it's not
running) > OK your way out and close Services pane.

Reboot > Does the problem persist?

YW. Hijackware's the usual culprit. Run a thorough check for hijackware,
including posting your HijackThis log to an appropriate forum.

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
