Searching two fields

I need to be able to go to a form with a combo box and enter a text value
into it but have it search two fields instead of just one. We have Capitol
asset numbers which have a greater value then the equipment assets. We will
always have the Equipment Assets but only those with cost over $5,000 will
have Capitol Assets. The records also have a description that goes with both
the Capitol and Equipment assets.

Equipment Table
Capitol Asset Equipment Asset Description
12345 6001234 Mazak H1000





If someone picks either number I need for the description to show up also on
the Combo box field on the Work order form.

You probably need to put 2 comboboxes on your form -- one for each field.

Thanks for your response. I need to explain this a little better. The people
that enter a work order manually look at the piece of equipment and there may
be two tags on the equipment and they may pick either one. They will just
add this data to the one field on the data access page. I use Data access
page to enter data and the form is populated on the form in the Asset field.

Your original message said you had 2 Asset fields. Could you post your table
structure?
