Searching Outlook's Calendar - Can it be done?

I can't seem to find how to search Outlook's calendar. I'm using 2010.

In calendar view I Press CTRL F but no search box comes up. I then click on Mail
then Home. I press CTRL F and the search box comes up. But it cannot find what
I'm looking for. It may be trying to find the text string in the mailboxes and
mail folders.

Is the calendar itself searchable? If not, this is a gaping omission, isn't it?

In Calendar, isn't there a search box at the top right-hand of the
window? There certainly is in 2007 and I'd be very surprised if that had
been removed in 2010...

It is there in the same place in 2010 as is in 2007

Yes, you're right. Need to RTFS...

Anyway, I typed in the following text (without the quote marks)

"D/S"

I then presented me with a long list of events and appointments with either "D"
or "S" in them.

For some reason it won't search and look for this specific text string.
