Searching in non-Microsoft documents

Hi,

Is it possible to use the Windows Explorer search facility to search for
strings in text files? I need to find a word in either a .jsp file, a .java
file, a .xml file or any other text file having a non-Microsoft specific file
extension.

Am I missing something here?
Yes, it is possible. Search is not restricted to MS files.
Doesn't a quick test prove that? (It did for me)

You may find that Agent Ransack is a faster and better replacement...and is
free.
