Searching from Address Bar Problems

Alright, I used to be able to search from the address bar with the typical
dell mysearch.myway.com Well, recently as of a few weeks ago my computer is
for some reason using MSN and no matter what I type it goes to the msn search
engine BUT it ALWAYS says page cannot be displayed. I can search fine from
any of the search engines if I go to their sites but I'm used to just typing
things in the address bar. I've tried to get it to use mysearch again but it
won't let me... any suggestions???

In my system mysearch.mysearch.com redirects to mysearch.com, which is in my
HOSTS file blocked list. Here is some interesting reading.

I never had that toolbar though, it would just search from the normal address
bar >.<
