Search would not work after installing sp2

Had a person who installed sp2 and then got Error
Message: "A File That Is Required to Run Search Companion
Cannot Be Found"
went to knowledgebase article 319949 and the steps there
and it gome back saying the Msgr3en.dll was missing.
Went to windows folder then srchasst folder and the dll
was there but found the folders chars and mui were not on
the bad computer. found that under the windows system
folder there was a scrhasst folder and it had the char
and mui took and made a copy of these in windows scrhasst
folder then search worked. Just thought I would let
someone know do not know why these folders got moved.


Also today downloaded nlite exe file from the internet
and it would not run on one computer I found that the
computer had both the net framework 1.0 and 1.1
installed and that was keeping this exe file from
running. funny thing was othe exe files worked just fine.

Figured I would share this in case someone else has these
problems.

That's normal. Shouldn't cause any problems.
