Search Shared Contacts

I am unable to search shared contacts in outlook on two different computers.

On one of my computers I receive a message that instant search encountered a
problem. I am running Windows 7 starter on a netbook with Outlook 2010 beta.

On the other computer I do not receive an error message, but no results show
up from the search. That computer is running Windows 7 with Outlook 2010
beta.

Any ideas? This is really a problem since I can't search my boss's contacts.
