Search in Right Click menu

Hi

Noticed that when we right click on a folder, we do not see the search
option anymore in Vista.

Instead, we can see a search bar on the top right hand side in Windows
Explorer (After opening the Folder/drive contents)

Is there a setting/registry tweak?

Don't have to open it, just highlight it and type whatever you want in
the search bar..

Somebody posted it here a few days ago, but I found this link anyways

Search command in the context menu and the Search... link (present in the
right-hand side of the Start menu) is removed when you install Windows Vista
Service Pack 1. For more information, read this article:

Pack 1:

To restore the Search command in the context menu, and to the Start menu,

Thank you Solon

This resolved the issue!

Another thing I noticed.
This was discussed on the comments on the web site you referred me to!

The search is only brought back for the context menu of folders. Not for
drives.
Any suggestions to this one?

Thanks

This post also provided the solution for drives

Let me add that, to restore the Search. option for drives, you also need to
delete the LegacyDisable value in this branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\find
