Search for 2 consecutive parag preceded & followed by an empty par

Hi

I have a 2500-page document containing terms and definitions for a personal
electronic dictionary. The format followed in this document is something like
this (taken from http://www.lingoes.net/en/dictionary/dict_format.php):

[blank line]
term 1
definition 1
[blank line]
term 2
definition 2
[blank line]
....
[blank line]
term n
definition n
[blank line]

The problem is that a great deal of terms in this document aren't according
to this format, and I must find and fix them. Some are one-liners, such as:
[blank line]
term definition
[blank line]

Others have 3 or more paragraphs, such as:
[blank line]
term
defini
tion
[blank line]

The only solution I could come up with is to use Word Search to find all the
terms&definitions with the correct pattern, use Replace to give them a
different color, search for automatic color, and then fix errors. The problem
is, I can't find the correct string of codes to put in the Find What field in
Word (with wildcards) to find the correct pattern needed and change its font
color. Any suggestions? Are you bored with all these details? :)

Office 2003. Term & definition are alphanumeric.

Thanks Doug, but this requires visual checking for the whole 2500-page
document (1500 more pages are to be added). Some definitions are 3-4 lines
long. I had already started doing this, but since I began skipping things
after some time, I thought it would be better to use an automatic way, maybe
by coloring the correct format or finding the incorrect format, automatically.
