I had similar problem with all MS sites running ME
I found HOSTS file(no ext) & deleted its contents.
Cant hurt anything.

GD- only 1 I have is C:\WINDOWS\I386\HOSTS, an example.
Maybe they renamed it or RR does something different.

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all

You have the QHosts trojan, a new malicious program that works through IE.
The patch is available for download here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/828750/default.asp

About 12 hours ago, Kenrick Fu posted here that MS has
just released a patch to prevent this new attack. At the link,
you may proceed to download, or you may first want to
read more here:

Also, there is a news article at ZDNet.com:

|You have the QHosts trojan
Think u have HOSTS file & trojan confused.
See http://www3.ca.com/virusinfo/virus.aspx?ID=37191
I run their updated AV daily & The marker file
%windows%\winlog does not exit on my PC.

The HOSTS file I was referring to is located in
%windows% directory according to above article.
