search companion in windows explorer

Hi:
I have several PC's running XP pro and on 1 of them when
I go to start\right click\explore to open windows
explorer does the search companion run. I find this to
be very cumbersome and want to shut it off. Does anyone
know how to turn off the search companion feature in
Windows Exporer in WIN XP PRO???
