SD Camera Card

I insert the SD card from my camera into the card reader slot and nothing
happens. What do I do now? Searched help and nothing about SD cards there.
Did explore and it does not show drive my card is located in, like it does
when I plud in my USB Flash. Do I need to download some sort of program that
activtes my card reader to recognize my 3 Gb photo SD? Any help/advice is
always appreciated.

When you purchased your Card Reader there should have been software with it.

Did that occur and did you run through the Install?

A card reader normally works automatically on any system Win98 or XP
system or later. Drivers are part of the system.

Try the reader on a difference PC to check reader and cable.

Borrow another reader to try on your own system.

Maybe try a different SD card.

Some readers do not work with 4GB SD cards

The card reader is incompatible with SDHC cards.
Get a new card reader that plugs into a USB port.
BTW I've never heard of a 3Gb SD card (3 gigabits?). The term for gigabyte
is GB. SD cards usually come in 2GB or 4GB or 8GB (SDHC sizes).
