Scsiport.sys causing slow boot?

Hi All,

Bootvis indicates that scsiport.sys is taking about 65 seconds to run, load
or whatever it does. The timing directly correlates to the time when I have
a dark monitor and barely visible xp splash screen (progress bar not
moving). I believe this is the source of my slow boot but don't know what
to do about it. Anyone know?

XP Pro SP2
Dimension 4100-933 MHz processor

Fixed!
Turns out to be UltraATA pci controller not working properly or
incompatibility issue. Removed and all is good.

Only took me 4 days to shave 1 minute off boot time. Wow.
