Scrolling stops download

Larry

Please help, This just started happening:
When I scroll down in ie6, while downloading any web site, the download
comes to a complete stop.
After I quit scrolling download will continue in a few seconds.

I have added no new hardware, software or updates within the last week.
Things were fine until today.

Using EZ-Antivirus and adaware I found no viruses or spyware.
I am using XP Home Edition and have updated it regugarly.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks... Larry

Try cleaning IE cache.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/157729/en-us
"How to clear the History entries in Internet Explorer".
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260897/en-us
"How to Delete the Contents of the Temporary Internet Files Folder".

Try also...
CCleaner (freeware), from http://www.ccleaner.com/
About CCleaner, courtesy of Sandi Hardmeier - Microsoft MVP: "Be very very
VERY careful with CCleaner. We are seeing a lot of problems with that
software removing hotfix data making it impossible to uninstall IE7 and any
other hotfix/update."

And...
Free History Eraser (deletes also index.dat files):
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm
The History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Visit Tune Up Center:
http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/center/tuneup.htm
Clic on "Tune Up Scan".

Then set your IE cache (TIF folder size) at about 50/60 mb.
