About a month ago, scrolling started to be very strange
in IE 6.0 and Outlook 2003.
- clicking on the vertical (or horizontal) scroll bar
goes down or up more if you click far away from the
current position and less if you click close. It used to
go only one "page" at a time the same as the page down or
up keys.
- if you right click on the scroll bar you get a menu.
If you try to cancel the menu by left clicking away from
the menu in the main window, it brings up the window menu
and executes the choice you happen to be over. Horrible!
- if you select some text and then try to scroll down
by clicking on the scroll bar, the selection is cancelled.
MS Word 2003 is not affected by these bugs, everything
works as it should. Outlook and IE, though, are affected.
Is this a result of some update I downloaded? Will it be
fixed?
