Scroll bar colour change

B

Beemer

Is there a way within any XP colour scheme to change the colour (or
contrast) of the moving part of the scroll bars? I use the silver colour
scheme including a grey background as this is best for the eyes when working
with Photoshop.

Right click on the Desktop and select properties, on the display properties
click on Appearance Tab then click on Advanced Button and make your changes
there.
Hope this what you are after.

Okay Beemer,
Right click on the Desktop then select properties, click on Appearance Tab
and make these changes:
Windows and Button:
[ Windows XP style ][v]

Color scheme:
[ Silver ][v]

Font Size:
[ Normal ][v]

Click on the Advanced Button and click on Color button to select from the
palette, if you wish to make more changes, although the First Screen will do
nicely what you want.
HTH.
Let us know.

Nass,

Followed your instructions and the result is the same. In advanced
selecting ITEM: Scrollbar the color tabs to the right Color 1 and Color 2
are greyed out so cannot be changed.

Hi Beemer,
If you are trying to achieve this on a third party Application, I can't see
this will be applicable unless that application has the configuration option
to do so.
See this link:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/personalize/look.mspx
HTH.
