Scripting in SP2

If there are any microsoft people in here - have any of you gone into the Microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress stationery groups and seen the comments about your idea of eliminating scripts? Please take a look at them, you will be disappointing a lot of people, please give us an option.
