script error while printing

Win2k, IE v6.0.2800.1106. I get the following Internet Explorer
Script Error when trying to print some web pages from Internet
Explorer, and when printing HTML-formatted emails in Outlook:

Line: 639
Char: 1
Error: Invalid Argument.
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Here's what I've tried so far (mostly from KnowledgeBase articles) :
- set "disable script debugger" to "yes" in regedit for IE
- set "enable 3rd party browser extensions" off in IE
- installed Windows Scripting Engine v5.6
- verified that "Surfiary" is not installed
- ran spyware & virus scanners
- uninstalled 3rd party toolbars from IE
- took 4 Advil, 3 times a day, applied ice & elevated my arm

Arggghh!!! Any ideas?
