Does it fix it if you close IE and Outlook Express and then click on start >
run > type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" without the quotes > press enter?

Version # / edition of McAfee ?

Before you did the print screen, what was (is) the error message ?
What VirusScan option were you trying and at what point did you get the error?
And if you've tried the McAfee support site, which page did you look at?

Thank you very much for that. It did the trick. However I did find that
advice that McAfee gave me that involved putting a different pathway in to
"RUN" also fixed it for one sweep of VirusScan and then the fault returned.
They had asked me to put in: regsvr32"c:\programm files\common
files\system/ole db\oledb32.dll". I will see how it goes and thank you again.

Unfortunately after the first successful run of Virusscan, using your
instructions, it failed to work again, even after again carrying out the
manouvre you suggested. I would be very grateful for anymore tips that you
could offer!

Kind regards
