Script editor appearing in favourite website

Hi, I'm looking for advice on an issue that's just started happening. I
frequently use the moneysupermarket.com website without problems but, earlier
on, after I'd gone to this site's forum page, I had an error message saying
that these scripts weren't supported and asking me if I wanted to debug. I
clicked yes and went through a few more screens that ended in a page with
what looked like programme language. When I tried to close, it asked if I was
sure that I wanted to stop debugging. I closed the internet browser before
clicking 'yes' to close the debug session. When I logged into the website
again, the same thing happened. I'm concerned that this might be highlighting
some kind of virus or problem with the website but am worried about loggin on
again to ask. Any advice gratefully received, thanks, chrissyd.

Yes, it's the script that you asked it to debug. Debugging will lead you
to the code itself.

If everything else is the same and this problem has just arisen, a good
possibility is that the site owner modified the scripts - and broke them in
the process, at least for your browser..

Send them an email as a heads-up, and you'll probably find that the problem
is resolved soon. In the meantime, say no to debugging, and you might try
another browser, such as Firefox. Sometimes changes like this work in one
browser and not another.

Hi Patrick, thanks for this - I've just gone onto the site again and no debug
message this time - so perhaps something got fixed in the last hour or so. I
will email them anyway. Thanks again for your reply - very reassuring. Best
wishes, Christine.
