I recently purchased a Christmas Cd that had games,
music, screensavers and various other things on it. I
downloaded it per instructions and also downloaded the
screen savers. I do not want the screensavers that are on
it and would like to delete them. I went to add/remove
programs but they are not listed there. How do I delete
these screensavers. I am 72 yrs of age and not to swift
when it comes to computers, can anyone out there please
help me. Thank You, Jean

Screen savers are individual files and must be deleted manually. They are
located here:
c:\windows
or
c:\windows\system32

You can goto those folders using windows explorer and find the screen saver
by name and delete it. Be careful though as there are important files in
those folders. If you do delete them make sure they are the correct name and
leave them in the recycle bin for a few days just in case you have to
restore them.

It depends on the program. Some will have you run setup again. When the
existing installation is detected, you're offered an alternative screen
that allows you to "change" or "add/remove components."

Or you could use Start> Search to locate all *.SCR files. Search results
will display a list of all of your screensavers. Locate the ones you don't
want and delete them. NOTE: You can double click the *.SCR files to get a
quick preview.
