screensaver

Cathi

I purchased one of those aquarium screensavers for the family computer.
Since I have different accounts so my kids have limited access, I can't get
the screensaver to work when no one is logged on. It works fine for me, but
I would like it to display when noone is logged on. Anyone have suggestions
on changing the settings for Vista?

No program is going to run when you log-off an account.

Hi Cathi,

Click start and type regedit, then hit <enter> to open the registry editor.
Expand the branches to reach this key:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

Click on the key, then locate the scrnsave.exe string at right. Double click
it, change the file path to that of the screensaver you desire. Click ok,
then close the registry editor.
