screensaver only works with time set to < 10 minutes

My screensaver will only come on if I set the start time to 10 minutes or
less. If set to 11 minutes or greater it will not come on.

Can some one help?

Hello,

This is a problem with all screensavers.

My power setting are:

Turn off monitor - 15 mins
Turn off hard disks - 1 hour

I am using Windows XP screen saver.

Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and all current updates to the operating
system.
