Well i have an IBM thinkpad T30. With windows XP pro. i just got it back
because the old motherboard broke. and now i tried to adjust the screen from
640x??? (forget) to a different size. then i changed the colour from 8-bit
to 32-bit and the screen started to flicker. now it flickers whenever i do
anything mostly when i click the mouse or sometimes when i move the mouse.
is there anything i can do?

Visit the IBM support web site, download and install
the recommended video adapter drivers for your specific
ThinkPad model number and Windows XP.

IBM Support & Downloads
http://www.ibm.com/support/us/

Before installing them, uninstall the old drivers. In your
Control Panel, open the Add or Remove Programs applet
and look for your video drivers to uninstall.

After installing a fresh set of drivers, right-click on your
desktop and select Properties > Settings, change the Color
Quality to "Highest (32 bit), then adjust your Screen Resolution
to your liking, then click on Apply.

Install the ClearType Tuner PowerToy
