screen configeration

When I start up any game a small window appears in the middle of the screen saying that the ideal screen configueration is 1280 x 1024. However my system is running with this anyway. The screen says type DISABLE and EXIT but the cursor disappears behind the window so I cannot get rid of this screen prompt. I have tried resetting the screen configueration and rebooting but this makes no difference

Sure this must be a common problem. Any ideas how you can solve it ?

Hi Buddy H,

Try pressing ALT+TAB the next time that happens to get to your
desktop and access that window. I hope the solution is that easy! ;-)
