Hi. I am trying to run spybot s&d and lavasoft adaware se using scheduled
tasks. I am able to find the .exe files for these 2 programs, but when I
add them to the scheduled tasks, the programs only open up, they don't run.
Is there a switch I can add at the end of the .exe file in the run box under
the advanced tab of the scheduled task? I tried /auto and /noprompt, but am
not sure of any others to try.

Thanks for any information.

To see a list of available switches for Ad-Aware Se use the "/?" after the
program name like "ad-aware /?". What you are looking for will not work for
Ad-Aware SE, you need the Pro or Plus version.

Spybot has a scheduler program included, you need to switch to the Advanced
Mode.

Thanks for the help sir. I found out where to do it in spybot, so thank
you, and you were correct about the free version of adaware. However it
lead me to investigate other programs I would like to run automatically, and
found the command line switches for them. Thanks a bunch.,
