scheduled tasks error codes

Getting an error code 3 when running ntbackup on windows
2000 advanced server after months of successful runs.
Looked in kb for definition. Gave file names and
suggested could be found in msdn w2k ddk disk but get
totally lost looking for it. Can anyone give a short
definition for error code 3 in scheduled tasks. Thanks -
appreciate your time and effort.

The error code is generated by ntbackup.exe, not by the
Task Scheduler. Check the Event Viewer and also the
backup reports.

I evidently didn't explain the problem correctly:
Scheduled Task log shows: Finished 1/16/2004 6:22:49 AM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (3). The
task, ntbackup.exe, did not generate a log file for this
run and there is nothing in the event viewer for
applictions, system or security. Could you please tell me
the definition of exit code (3)? Thanks again. pmz
