Scheduled tasks being blocked

Any reason why Defender would block my scheduled tasks out side of the
scheduled Defender scan? I installed Defender over the weekend and a event
code gets listed as the task being blocked. I can run the program by itself
and everything works.

Thoughts? I've looked through all the settings and couldn't find where it's
being blocked.

If Windows Defender blocked it, there should be a System event log recording
this at the time the task was to be run.

Start, run, eventvwr.msc <enter>

Click on the system event log, click View, filter, choose WinDefend as the
source.

See if you can spot the entries for the time the task was to start, and see
if they tell you anything useful.
