Scheduled Task suddenly could not run

N

Hello,

I noticed my scheduled tasks didn't run from Friday,
October 24 and I can't run them anymore. In the status
column I see only the text "Could not start" and in the
log file SchedLgU.txt there are only strange characters
like ˙ţ" (similar characters ˙ţ2 are in the Windows
Update.log file ?) ???
I have checked the Task Scheduler service and all the tips
I found in the Troubleshooting Task Scheduler but all
(except log file) seems to be OK?
Is it possible that the reason is the change in daylight
time (from Saturday to Sunday)?
My Windows 2000 is updated up to date - the last hot fix
wm828026 was instaled on October 23.
Please for help!

This is a known bug: On machines where the system is installed on
a FAT partition, each task will lose its account information when the
change from and to daylight saving time occurs.

You have two options:
- Re-enter the account credentials for each job, twice every year, or
- Convert your system partition to NTFS.
