Schedule a Room (resource) for a meeting

I'm newbie in Outlook.

The first question I get when scheduling a resource is:
Why do I need to manually pick from a list that it is a resource ?
Isn't it possible to tag an email account (that a resource need to be) as a
resource or meeting room ?
The default for the resource account in question is "Required Attendee"

and

if I book a meeting room will this automaticly be filled in as location, or
do I need to tell twice that we use meeting room A (also in the Location
field) ?

By designating an invitee as a resource, you are telling Outlook to try to book that resource directly rather than allowing the attendee to decide whether to attend.

Inviting a resource will automatically set the value in the Location field.
