Scanning photo's - receipient is having sizing problems

G

Gavin

can anyone assist here....

I scan my photo's via a flat bed scanner & send them via
email attachement to friends
- I use a Visioneer scanner with Scansoft software(comes
bundled with Visoioneer scanners)

When the recipient receives & opens the photo's they
mention they are too large to view on their monitor?

Am I not scaling the scanned pics correctly?

How do I ensure they are a size which can be easily viewed
by the receiver?

any help would be nuch appreciated

thanks

==================================
I guess you're running WinXP or you wouldn't
be here...right?

OK, go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

http://tinyurl.com/36n

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures from the menu. You
can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.
(Tip: *Never* overwrite your originals)

BTW...when resizing if you go to...Advanced
Button / Custom...and enter 640 in each field...
that will be a good size for e-mail purposes.
