Scanning medium format

Hi all,

I have this strange feeling I will be able to do some medium format film
scanning with my good-old HP 4470. I now have a dedicated film scanner, and
I never think I would need to scan medium format. But as always, now I need
to do that and all I have available is the XPI (or something like that),
which is that strange black lamp one puts on HP scanners to scan negatives.
I am thinking on modifying this to load 6x6 negatives, as it is particularly
wide. Did anybody else try this?

Thanks a lot

My suggestion is to try it and see what happens.

Why ask questions about something that a little experiment would give you
the answer?

You are very right and I will. I just asked in case there is a catch and
someoen knows about it ;-)

A good thought, however if you do the experiment, then you would have a
better idea of what question to ask.
