scanner and camera wizzard

I had a scanner and camera wizzard listed under accessories and was able to
previously use it with no problems. I had not used it over the last few
months and when I put the camera card in just a few days ago, the Scanner and
Camera wizzard wasn't accessible. When I looked under accessories, it wasn't
listed there either. How can I restore it? What may have happened? Isn't it
inherently a part of microsoft windows XP?

The executable for Scanner and Camera wizard is found at:
\Windows\System32\wiaacmgr.exe
If your short cut is missing you can simply locate the executable,
Right Click, Send To : Desktop, to recreate the link.
