SBS2000 to SBS2003 - network not found error.

I am trying to migrate sbs2000 to sbs2003. I am following the directions in
SBS_MigratingSBS2k.doc which I downloaded from Microsoft.

I have DNS on both the source and destination servers frowarding each other.

When I run user migration wizard in ADMT and select my source domain I get
an error 53 and 1231 (network not found) despite ping with hostname and
nslookup both work to resolve hostnames to ip addresses.

Technet references error 53 and 1231 as problem with tcp/ip net bios helper
service. I confirmed this service is running.

Anyone have other suggestions?

Thanks

Howie

I had the same problem. The trick is that you have to point the DNS of
the DC of the old domain to the new domain (so it can resolve the
name).
