SBS 2003, Roaming Profiles, Anti-Spyware Settings

Dave F.

I have installed the Microsoft Anti-Spyware on each
Windows XP Pro fully loaded with all critical patches.

I have mapped the my documents folder to a folder on the
SBS 2003 server. It looks like when a user comes onto a
computer after another user comes on, then they get this
error. I am not certain how to correct this, except to
disable this feature.

Microsoft AntiSpyware has detected your default user
folder (shell folder) Personal attempting to be changed
from \\server\Users\user1 to \\server\Users\user2.

Shell folders are special folders that Windows uses to
indicate the default location for many types of settings
and data.

Advise: Unless you have specifically made this change the
change should be blocked.

Yes - I think you are correct about the available workarounds. This comes
broadly under this heading, I think:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003
