I have a video that is too dark. I adjust the settings in the player. Is there anyway to edit my video, just by making it lighter, and save it that way so that I can email it to friends and family without having them change the settings themselves? What do I need? Something besides the player?

Thanks!

You can do that in Pinnacle studio.

Windows media player will not save your settings.

It may be worth loading the video footage into Windows Movie Maker and seeing if there's anything in there that will do the job.

Windows Movie Maker is a freebie with XP SP2.

I've never used it myself, but it is free.

Any other solution, as far as I know, will involve spending money on software.
