Hi pourlance

Office Button >SaveAs

Or

Office Button >SaveAs (menu)
Other formats

Or use F12

Choose CVS in the list and save the file

What do you mean "2007 doesn't"? Doesn't what?

When I save it as a csv file it doesn't hold the format it should for me to
transfer it - it shrinks the columns, changes the date column to #### due to
resizing it etc. I can't figure out what is different from 2003 version that
worked fine - does this make sense?

I did that and the 2007 file has several commas after the information where
the 2003 file doesn't - that is the difference but I dont know how to correct
it in 2007

Would you like to send me an AXLES file to experiment with?
My private email -- not the newsgroup
best wishes

How do I do that? Would really appreciate the help - also have seen a
program for sale called "saving to csv" - would that work or is that a waste
of money?

Excel 2003 CSV separate each of the value by the comma "," but Excel 2007 CSV separate by semicolon ";". I dont get it why MS change that.
