saving problems

i am having saving problems with wmm. it's trying to tell me that it will
take up to 4000 minutes to save and counting. i have made longer and more
complex movies than this and am confused. pls help. thx.

What types of clips (extensions for audio/video/still images) are you using?
How long is the project?
How many transitions etc...?

2 mp3 song, about 90 jpg images, about 50 avi and video clips- all around
3-30 secs long. maybe 15 transitions, lots of effects and hmmmm.
but see, i have done more complex stuff than this, and no probs.
it did end up saving to a disc, (after an hour of saving) but it wont play
back on nothing either..... most likely meaning it didn't save at all. ;(

Well that is a rather large project so splitting it "may" solve the problem
but it may also be the MP3's causing this.
First I would try converting the MP3's to WMA or WAV and using them.
If that doesn't do the trick try testing the complex project theory:
Save the project with a different name (File -> Save Project As)
Then delete half of the project and try to render it.
