Saving pictures

A

Andrew

Running XP Pro.

Saving pictures from IE6, OE6, or Outlook 2003 all insist on saving pictures
as bmp files, even if the picture is a gif or a jpg.

What's the cure?

TIA

Did you try saving as? If yes, and you still do not see
jpeg format then you need to associate a program that
will open with jpeg. Power Point has many file types. If
you have that program, you can save your file to my
documents and open up Power Point and insert the file and
save as a jpeg. If you do not have Power Point go to my
computer, tools, folder options, file types and look for
the program that opens up jpeg files. Look for the file
jpeg and highlight it and it will tell you at the bottom
of the screen. Let me know if this helps.
