Saving Internet History

Some told me in
http://groups.google.com/[email protected]
that I should download Spider to save my history as a *.txt file. I have
downloaded it. I ran it and it doesn't seem to find any URLs. It shows:

Never mind. I found them when I scanned the entire drive.

Superior (in a variety of ways), to the dated prog Spider...

Index.dat Suite
http://www.it-mate.co.uk/support/idsuite.asp

IDSuite doesn't force you into an entire disk search. It lets you
choose specifically where you what you want it to process. For your
history file, you can point IDSuite to a specific directory one time
(eg, mine is at d:\ztmp\msie\history\), and it will afterwards remember
that location for you.

To have IDSuite provide you an URL list extracted from your MSIE history:

Select an index.dat history file that you've had it locate, right-click
and choose "View File Contents."

When it is done processing the file, right-click in the displayed
contents window, and choose "Save List."

You will then receive a text file, one URL per line.
