saving history/temp internet files

Gary

ie automatically deletes files and the history when i
exit the browser. I want to keep them for a bit but cant
get ie to stop doing this.

Have been through all the options and unchecked the
advanced option to "Empty tempory internet files folder
when browser is closed". Still doesnt keep the files.

Any ideas how to stop it deleting everything??

Gary,
Open Regedit to the following location:
Verify the entry is correct: ("Persistent"=dword:00000001)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Cache]
"Persistent"=dword:00000001

Edit as needed, always Export before editing.
