Saving forwarded tasks does not put the in task list

hello

When forward a task I created to someone else and that person opens the
attached task and hits 'Save and close', it does not enter into his task
list. I would like to use task forwarding instead of assigning a task,
because I need to be able to change details on it (like move the alarm etc).

I there a way to let the receiver of forwarded tasks put them into their
task list?
Otherwise the forwarding would be quite useless.
We use Outlook 2003 and 2007, same problem either way

no. tasks were designed around responsibility and the Owner of the Task
(person it's Assigned to) is the only one who a) has responsibility and b)
can edit it. Yopu can send a Task Update to the Owner telling them there's
a need for them to change the Due date for example.
