Saving as a DVD

I'm very new to this. I transferred a video from my camcorder using the
movie maker (1 I think). I want to transfer the final movie to a dvd so I
can play it on my dvd player. How do I do this? Do I need another program?
I have a DVD burner on the computer. Can you help?

You need to save the edited file from WMM onto your hard drive as a DV-AVI
file, then use your third party burning software to create and burn the DVD.

HEllo,

You need software like Nero (www.nero.com) It is truly excelent and very
highly regarded in the disk making community

Your |DVD burner may have come with a program....check that out. It
will almost certainly not be as good as Nero, but if it does what you
want.... Note that if you do not yet have a burner, most white box (OEM)
equipment comes without supporting software....so If you intend to but one
be sure of what it comes with first and ask others what they think of that
software....their are plenty of programs around, most are good.

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
