Saving a message and attachment

I want to save an email message and an attachment together onto my hard
drive. I am running Outlook 2003. When I save them I do "Save as"
...."OUtlook Message format". If I delete this message from OUtlook (even
from the deleted file), when I try to retrieve it in My Computer will I be
able to or are the reference points gone?

msg-files are separate container file for Outlook items. Meaning that they
contain all the message info and is stored independent from your Outlook
message store.
