Scott,
I wasn't criticizing anyone personally, never brought an
accusation, why do I deserve to be singled out for special attention.
What have I ever done to you? I just thought it was needless
criticism in the first place. Or, put it another way, are you going
to respond to this when it's not necessary, and tell me something bad
about myself that I didn't know before. Wow, I'm such a clever-clogs!
No I am not - sometimes thing I'm the dumbest man in the world and am
ready to accept it! All I want to do is try to help people out, if I
can. What is an intelligent person and a stupid person? I think
stupidity is destruction and intelligence is creation. Don't much
like rating human-beings on some sort of numerical scale, anyhow,
don't believe in it. Anyway scott - love you too.

I thought it was pretty well self-explanatory what the "copy inside
only" lines mean and you'd only need some help with it if you were,
in fact, a chimpanzee!

If this doesn't work I'll think of something else.
Create then merge this registry file to restore the
"Always Ask Before Opening This Type of File" dialog
box.
1. Copy below and paste into Notepad.
----------copy inside only----------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentExecute]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentExecute]
----------copy inside only----------
2. Save-as OpenAsk.reg (or any name + .reg)
3. Double-click or right-click and merge into the registry.

On my Win XP Pro desktop, when I go to download an application
or file from
a website, I click on Save, it saves it to the desktop. How can
I get
the option
back to save it to the folder of my choice?
Thanks!

What exactly do you mean: "copy inside only"? Does that mean I
should omit the
[ ] ?
Tim,
Gee, and I thought there was no such thing as a dumb question. I
just wish I lived
in London, like you, where everyone is sooooo smart.
